“As two swinging arms were needed I decided to use the swinging arm shaft as the drive shaft so as to power both rear wheels. Cornering may or may not be a problem as both rear wheels have freewheel capability so the outside wheel will freewheel whilst the inside wheel will still be driving. I’m hoping the slight under steer inherent in driving one side will be reduced by the leaning of the wheels. We will see.”
