Custom recumbent bike in Indonesia – AtomicZombie gallery

“Dear Sir/Madam,

This bike was made due to almost sold as trash. Total cost is around $70 US (seat $20, frame from pipe $10, front wheel $10, steering $15, paint, installation, chain $15) and a used bike.

And the time to build was around 2 months, since I only have time on Saturday and Sunday. Made in West Jakarta, Indonesia.

Thanks and Regards, Gregorius Teguh Liem.”

Great way to re-use and recycle bike parts, Gregorius. Congrats on your new recumbent bike!

Joe’s custom Scout bike – Atomic Zombie builders gallery

“Here is my RD bike. I built it about four years ago. This is a four speed, two forward pedal gears and two back pedal gears.

“Scout” is a solid commuter/townie as well as an intrepid explorer. The transmission was patented in the 1880s,  so it’s nothing new. I’ve pedaled Scout forwards and backwards thousands of miles and it just keeps going (forward).

“Your new stomping grounds look great. I hope you fill all those acres up with new creations. Thanks, Joe.”

UK handmade bike chopper – Atomic Zombie builders gallery

“Hi there. I am from the UK and use Stormbird on the forums. I have combined the forks from Skyscraper and the ideas from Granny’s Nightmare and built myself this chopper.

Without Brad’s help, I could not have achieved this and I am very proud of it (showing everyone I know).

I have both books and lots of plans and feel he is in the garage with me and can here his words in my head helping me solve problems and giving me encouragement when things don’t go as planned.

Well, that is what I am telling the judge when I am in court.  🙂

Got some car wheels and itching to build the next one , but dang the sun is shining and I need to be out riding it!

Regards, Paul.”
